G‑d's Bat Mitzvah Gift

Two weeks ago at the first b
at mitzvah club meeting,
we did many things.
First of all we started off talking about what bat mitzvah club is about. We then spoke about how at your bat mitzvah whatever way you choose your theme, it's about something you enjoy. The main thing that we talked about was our souls and how they are connected to g-d. We all sang a song about an angel and a soul.
Another thing that we did was talk about candles and how they are just like souls. We learned that the flame on the candle is always facing up just like our souls look up to g-d. 
The craft that we did was make gel candles. We chose that specific craft because the meeting was talking about our souls and why they're just like candles.
I think that the two most important things that I learned from that meeting is that even though there is evil in the world, there is still some good in it too. The other one was about chesed. When you help someone else, you don't lose anything, you just have the pride of knowing that you helped someone.
