A Treat for Body and Soul
By, Victoria Simpson

At our third Bat Mitzvah Club Meeting our theme was "A Treat for the body and soul" So, to start off our meeting we presented one of our BMC members Ariel Zaichick with a rose and a poem for her birthday.

At our Lesson we learned about our Nishama, and how to quench its needs you do good deeds.

We also learned about our body and to quench its needs you do sports or activities.

But, to quench them both you need to eat Kosher Foods.

After we went on a surprise trip to....LOBLAWS!!!! There was a twist to our trip. We had to find as many KOSHER foods in 20 minutes that fit in to the all the letters of the alphabet so, we split off in to teams and off we went!!!

Chanukah

Dancing Flames

On the 2nd bat mitvah club the theme was Chanukah. I could tell everyone was exited.

Chanukah is the festival of light.
Everyone got to light a candle on the menorah. We made doughnuts because of the oil.
We all got paired into twos and put a poem together. We also had a gift exchange. Each person got a gift.

We played dradle and ate more doughnuts. I could probably guarantee everyone is exited for next month.
